The Fridskul Common Library, documenta 15, Kassel, Germany, 2022

A collective project, the Common Library was assembled after one year of holding monthly majelises (a loose translation for “assembly” in Arabic), which were organized by the eleven collectives governing and inhabiting the “Fridskul,” (or Fridericianum as School), the main venue of documenta 15. Spatial design by El Warcha, Sourabh Phadke, Iswanto Hartono, Niki Dimopoulou, with the help of Mona Schmidt, Steffen Och, Jona Wentzler, and Lukas Laudage.
