Sukka

Sukka is a temporary hut constructed for use during the week-long festival of Sukkot. The municipality of Tunis usually gives palm leafs to the families that want to build a sukka in front of their house or in our case on the roof of the house. This project was developed with artist Rafram Chaddad part of a performance he organised on the roof of the Palais Cardoso in the Medina of Tunis.

Sukka est une cabane temporaire construite pour être utilisée pendant le festival d'une semaine de Souccot. La municipalité de Tunis donne généralement des feuilles de palmier aux familles qui souhaitent construire une sukka devant leur maison ou dans notre cas sur le toit. Ce projet a été développé avec l'artiste Rafram Chaddad dans le cadre d'une performance qu'il a organisée sur le toit du Palais Cardoso dans la médina de Tunis.
